COLLECTIVE DECISIONS
ON COVID-19
Covol is an asynchronous video town hall, ongoing expert panel discussion and debate on critical Covid-19 issues, with the audience feeding back on everything that's said.
JOIN THE ALPHALEARN MORECovol is built on a new digital media platform called Civol, which offers a new user experience called Asynchronous Video Conversation. AVC, in turn, is made possible by a new kind of video player, the Civol eXchange Player Recorder. At right we offer a glimpse into its structure.
Exchanges begin with a hostpost, so Dr. Mehta is the host here. The conversation is TREATMENTS, and the thread, Doxycycline and Ivermectin. In the real XPR all the videos are playable in the usual way. This animation just explains basic AVC navigation. Go ahead and click or tap Play.
AVC offers many advantages, such as no scheduling or interruptions, post what you like when you like, re-record till you get it right, and more.

On Covol, every Covid-19 topic is a multi-threaded asynchronous video conversation, with each thread having its own, ever changing panel of experts, typically top researchers, doctors, government officials, politicians and journalists. Below are some of the topics/issues they'll be discussing and debating.
Its composition and genetic makeup, its lethality, antibodies, mutation rate, and vulnerabilities.
Who, what, when, where? Operation Warp Speed? Will it work? New model? Forced or voluntary?
Strengthening the immune system, nutrition, zinc ionophores, masks, social distancing, tracking.
You have the virus, what can you expect? What's going on in your body? When do you seek medical help?
Hydroxychloroquine and zinc, Doxycycline and Ivermectin, intravenous C, Remdesivir, chlorine dioxide...
Strategies to defeat the virus, obstacles and impacts, minimizing costs, collective intelligence...
Open and inclusive, Covol conversations evolve as conflicts are resolved and new facts and reasoning emerge over time. It's a gestalt culminating in collective agreement, precisely measured consensus on what we're dealing with and what we want to do about it.
Every post gets feedback from the audience, which is aggregated to measure collective agreement.
Voting is ambient when it's baked in. For Covol this means at the end of every video post. Effortless. Rewarding.
Any expert panelist can directly reply to any other expert panelist, even challenge them to a debate.
Unmoderated, decided by the community, spontaneous. In seconds a debate can be spawned by a challenge.
Consensus decisions will be intelligent because Covol users will be diverse, decentralized, independent.
You'll get an immediate welcome email, followed in due course by an invitation to sign up. For the Alpha right now we're focusing primarily on onboarding expert speakers, so it may take some time. We appreciate your patience!
Covol is the pilot project for Civol, a new digital media platform built by our company of the same name. We'll be launching the Civol.co website in the coming weeks, and will introduce the team at that time.
Every video watched on Covol expresses an opinion, and everyone who watches that video is asked if they agree with that opinion when the video ends. A lightning fast click to indicate your level of agreement and it's done. That simple voting event, when aggregated for every post made on Covol, provides the community with a clear picture of its state of collective understanding. What's more, conversations on Covol evolve toward whole truth consensus as all facts are factored and all voices are heard.
Covol is conversational video, something new. YouTube is broadcast, like TV. So on Covol a panelist publishes a hostpost on a thread and other panelists on that thread reply with their own video posts. Plus, Covol video is push button with near instant playback. YouTube requires editing and an upload.
Webinars are a useful way to disseminate information, but they fall short on scalable dialogue and consensus. Their main problem is the hard problem for all broadcast video - only one person can speak at a time, and there's always limited time. With Covol, everyone can talk at once, the conversation lasts for as long as it takes to resolve (days, weeks, months), no scheduling or moderation needed. And Covol is open to any and all experts the community wants to hear from. They'll get to say exactly what they want, when they want. Throughout the process Covol will be measuring consensus on specific ideas, as they evolve. Plus, Covol supports multiple conversations, each with multiple threads, all happening at the same time.
Soon you'll be able to share Covol exchanges on Twitter, Facebook, and other social platforms, and eventually you'll be able to embed the Civol XPR everywhere you can embed a YouTube video right now.
You do. And we don't track your activity for advertisers either, or for any other purposes without your permission.
Not yet. Our plan is to leave that decision to you, the users of the system, as part of our transformation of Civol into a fully decentralized autonomous corporation.
There is probably no more urgent collective decision on planet earth right now than what we do about Covid-19. Covol's mission is to achieve mass scale consensus on intelligent collective decisions as we respond to the virus, it's what the platform was designed to do.
The bottom line is, we need to have a global dialogue on Covid-19, and we hope you'll decide to be part of it. Soon we'll deploy the app and you'll be able to sign up and get started. Until then, stay strong!
